Lauryn

I grew up in Georgia in a big house that was located by a rural road.

I am the youngest of four children. The third daughter in the family.

My life in Georgia was spent mostly in the outdoors; climbing trees, playing in the mud, building forts, jumping on the trampoline, playing "House" in the forts, getting bitten by mosquitoes, running around the yard (pretending I was a horse), swinging on the tire swing, reading a book on the porch, basking in the sun, playing with the dogs, exploring the hundred acres of woods that was across the street from our house, and picking wildflowers.

Even though I really loved that home, and all the memories, and all the good things that were there, God had a different plan for my family's life, and my family gave it all up for Him. We moved to Washington state. Away from all of our grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and most of all, my oldest sister and her husband, to be apart of Lifestyle of Learning Ministry.

Much to our disbelief, we've already lived here for three years!

Things that make me happy: Studying German, playing guitar, working on film projects with our friends, swimming, dancing, animals (especially horses and cats), studying about homesteading, laughter, my midnight GIF "wars" with my sister, sunrises and sunsets, warm, gooey cinnamon buns, climbing trees, spending time at the horse barn, inside jokes, finding good, new music, hot summer days, hard laughter, eating pizza (especially with friends), Autumn, good conversations, and much more.
